Soursop-fruit Powder 

(also called graviola or guanábana) made from the dried pulp of the Annona muricata tree. The fruit is known for its fresh, sour taste (hence the name "soursop") and an aroma reminiscent of a mixture of pineapple and strawberry.

Areas of use.

The powder is popular as a superfood ingredient and is often used in:

• Smoothies and juices.
• Yoghurt, porridge or cereals.
• Baking and raw food recipes for a tropical taste.

Nutritional content and properties.

• The fruit is naturally rich in vitamin C, fiber and antioxidants. Soursop also has a long history in traditional medicine.
• Although research is being done on the fruit, as of today it has not been scientifically documented that it can treat or cure serious diseases such as cancer.

Precautions.

It is recommended that certain groups exercise caution or avoid soursop, as it is linked to neurotoxicity in large quantities. This applies in particular to:
